Digital Photography and Art

Program Director: Lori Wun

Monday, July 23rd – Friday, July 27th

Time: Full Day 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Ages: 11 -18

Cost: $395.00

Students will explore digital photography and imaging as they use Nikon DSLR cameras, scanography, design with Photoshop, and digital inkjet printing in this class. As we create individual projects in our state-of-the-art lab that utilizes Apple and Adobe technology, the class will practice a variety of photography techniques and digital editing. During the week we will take a field trip to a fun shooting site such as the Seneca Park Zoo or the Lamberton Conservatory and Highland Park.

Students who have taken this course before will have the opportunity to do more advanced, independent work to build on their current skills and interests and to work on a different range of projects if they choose. Each student will receive a copy of all his or her digital files at the end of the day on Friday and a portfolio of photographic prints. Students may use their own DSLR cameras, or they will be provided as part of the course.
